In a party of 8, 6 of my friends thought the food excellent and 2 of us were slightly disappointed (not enough garlic in a dish saying garlic in the title and not the best fish soup)....Excellent food, good value. Beef cheek, cassoulet delicious mains.
Highly recommend the Pasta (Kids assured me it was the "Best in the world......Quite honestly, in a way, you wouldn't expect to find a restaurant across the way from the Intermarché at Tourrettes, but there it is, quite unassuming, and able to do what they say they can on the menu. Largely inspired by my country upbringing in Languedoc, La Garrigue offers rustic family style cooking, complimented by a large selection of the best wines from this area of France known as "Le Midi".
The creme brulee is THE best!A fantastic meal in a wonderful setting. A fantastic time was had by us all and we are delighted with the response from our dining friends both in their support and bookings. La cuisine française offre des repas authentiques à ce restaurant. The food was delicious especially the bouillabaisse.Excellent as always. Coping very will given Covid restrictions which did not impact on an enjoyable lunch.Our first visit since early this year.

Close to the Royal Mile, La Garrigue is a low-key yet chic French restaurant in the buzzing heart of Edinburgh city centre. The dishes had obviously been chosen carefully so that the quality was not affected by the delay in consumption! The tables were well spaced out behind Perspex shields.
My wife and I and our 2 children spent a lovely evening eating and drinking at La Garrigue. Was great considering the Covid period. No hugs or hand shakes but a fabulous time. Traditional French restaurant serving original and classic dishes .
