It's interesting to see the differences between the movie and the book. Both are great, with the movie just being a more futuristic version by modern standards.I'd never read The Minority Report.
Philip K. Dick’s The Minority Report focuses on a society with virtually no crime; however, people can be guilty of precrime. I loved the movie, but the book is much better in my humble opinion. There is certainly tension there, albeit not as much as you might expect from Dick. I hope you enjoy it thoroughly. Precogs predict the future and punishment is meted out before any harm can be done to society. The book is nothing like the movie and I was surprised at how much more interesting were the ideas in Spielberg’s work compared to the original concept and simple story.
